Ms. Herrera is a senior FinTech and Financial Services executive with a proven record of driving innovation and operational excellence across startups and Fortune 500 companies. At Royal Bank of Canada, she launched RBC Clear, an award-winning cash management platform that dramatically reduced onboarding and implementation times, earning recognition from Celent and Global Finance. As Chief of Staff to the CEO at Riskified, she enhanced post-IPO operations to scale secure digital payments. At Vanguard, she led the digital transformation of financial advisory services as Chief Operating and Organizational Officer. During her 20+ years at Citigroup, she held global leadership roles, including Global Product Head and COO for International Franchise Management, overseeing non-U.S. operations. Ms. Herrera holds degrees from Harvard Business School (AMP), EAFIT University (B.S., Systems Engineering), and Sheffield Hallam University (M.S., Organizational Development), and studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Passionate about education and the arts, she has served as Co-Chair of Carnegie Hall’s Young Patrons Board, Advisor to Orquesta Filarmónica de Medellín, founded the Illūmināre Scholarship at EAFIT, and sponsors students through Children International.
